January 26 Love you Lord

When we loved God we will keep His commandment. It is obvious that when love exists, there are agreement between the two parties which cannot be broken in order to keep the light of the love burning. God is our creator and make so He is constant in His promises, so that we can rely on Him always. There had never been a time when God failed. Since we know that our God cannot fail us.Then we need to be faithful on our side. Maintaining the love of God means that we must live according to God’s commandments. On our part God wants to keep his commandment and obey Him so that He will keep His promises on our side. We cannot be living for ourselves without God and then we expect the love of God to be with us. We must follow the rule in order to get the full love of God to work in our lives. God demonstrates His love for us that He gave us the only begotten son for us, and this favor was done to us while we not yet children of God. Then if God can give us a precious gift, we ought to give God our lives also in order to respond to His Love.

Bible Readings
READ Psalm 18:1–6. 1 I love you, LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies. 4 The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. 5 The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me. 6 In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for leaving the ultimate refuge of heaven to become radically vulnerable and to die for me, so that now, despite my sin, I can find a welcome and refuge in the arms of the Father. I love you for what you have done and for who you are. Amen.
