And ye shall seek me, and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13. God has spoken the way we can get gain in coming to Him.

JEREMIAH 29:11-14 “And ye shall seek me, and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jer. 29:13).

I’ve talked to many people who knew they needed God in their lives, yet they felt like it was so hard to connect with Him. They said, “I’ve prayed, but the Lord never answered.” Jesus told us, “For every one that asketh received; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened” (Matt. 7:8). God never fails us. So, what’s the answer? The answer is revealed in this verse. The Lord said we will seek Him and find Him when we search with ALL our hearts. Failure to connect with God is not because of any lack of faithfulness on His part but a lack of seeking with ALL our hearts on our part.

Therefore, the key is in our hearts. Focusing all our attention on the Lord unlocks the door to a relationship with Him and everything it produces. The Lord loves us and desires to help us through our troubles, but He doesn’t want us to come to Him only when we’re having problems. So many people are in the desperate situations they’re in because they’ve totally ignored the leading of the Lord in their everyday lives.

They want Him to miraculously bail them out of the pit they dug for themselves. Then they go right back to doing the same things that got them in trouble in the first place. They weren’t seeking God with all their hearts, they just wanted out of trouble! Sometimes it’s best for a parent to deny their child’s request to teach them a greater truth. Likewise, the Lord knows our hearts and only reveals Himself to those who seek Him wholeheartedly. Get serious with the Lord today and you’ll find Him!

1 Chronicle 22:19
Now set your heart and soul to seeking the LORD your God. Get started building the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the holy articles of God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the LORD.

  • Setting our right to seek the Lord
  • Building a sanctuary to the Lord
  • Bringing the Ark of the Lord to its place.

Are going to church just for the gin of been a member? Do go to receive miracles or get connected to the right, gained influenced, be part of the most privileged people. We need to ask ourselves that what is the purpose of doing what we found our hands to do and many things we do in life have a purpose which it is been done. What is your sincere purpose of attending church or praying to God? Most Christians today have become idol worshippers and became of worshipping idols ignorantly. They never knew why they pray to God every day but they attached to their worship with the same purpose as Idol worshippers.  What is the purpose of people who are worshipping Idols? They needed protection and provision from their idols. But a Christian’s purpose should go beyond that. Ask yourself what the purpose why you worship God is. Does your purpose is the same as the Idol worshippers?

However, the first purpose of seeking the Lord is to set our hearts right to walk along with God. We don’t need to bring our own desires or our problems to pretend that we are seeking the Lord. But we need to set our hearts right that, God is our creator who deserves our worship and we must do everything in our ability to respond to the love of our creator. When we set our hearts right to seek the Lord then we can realize our Purpose of seeking the Lord in our lives.

Building a sanctuary to the Lord means we need to make a place in our hearts for the presence of the Holy Spirit. We are the temple of God and as a temple, we must build a sanctuary for the Lord also that our hearts be made ready for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. But when our hearts are full of bitterness, anger, worries, anxiety, fear, sin, etc. The Holy Spirit is far away from us and we cannot connect to the streams of God Blessing and we shrink spiritually.
And as a result, we use our worship to cover up our weaknesses.

The Ark of God represents the Holy Spirit, as in the old testament the Holy Spirit has not been poured and the Ark represents the presence of God. But now the Holy Spirit is poured and we can possess the Spirit of God in our hearts. Making our Hearts free from Sins and worldly entanglements makes the room for the Holy Spirit to take place in our Hearts. When we confess and forsake, when making peace with one another, when we open our hearts for things that are good, when we forgive one another, then we are bringing the Ark of the Lord to its right place.
