The Sabbath Day Rest
Now we are on the sixth creation day
What have been created on the 6th creation day? Let’s see…
Genesis 1:24 And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” — Has done.
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man, our image, after our likeness.” — Has done.
Genesis 1:30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” —Not yet done.
Genesis 3:14 God says to serpent, “and dust you shall eat all the days of your life”. — Not yet done(real serpent).
But why God says “and it was so” in the end of verse 30? That’s true. All words of God must be accomplished, that’s why God said “it was so”. We know it must be come true in the future, but not yet done now. So what does it means? It means we are still on the 6th Creation Day. We have to wait for the 7th day “God’s Rest Day” and the “Holy Day“.
God’s Rest Day
15 Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land that I had given them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most glorious of all lands,
16 because they rejected my rules and did not walk in my statutes, and profaned my Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols.
Hebrews 4:4-5,7-9
4 For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.” 5 And again in this passage he said,
“They shall not enter my rest.”
7 again he appoints a certain day, “Today,” saying through David so long afterward, in the words already quoted,
“Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on. 9 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, 10 for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
Therefore the 7th Day God’s Rest Day will be fullfilled in the New Heaven New Earth, when New Jerusalem is come.
Micah 4:1,2
1 It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of YHWH
shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and it shall be lifted up above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it,
2 and many nations shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of YHWH,
to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways
and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law,
and the word of YHWH from Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:1,10,26
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth…10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God,
26 They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.
Ezekiel 20:40-41
40 “For on my holy mountain, the mountain height of Israel, declares YHWH God, there all the house of Israel, all of them, shall serve me in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will require your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your sacred offerings.
41 As a pleasing aroma I will accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered. And I will manifest my holiness among you in the sight of the nations.
Isaiah 25:6-8
6 On this mountain YHWH of hosts will make for all peoples
a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine,
of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.
7 And he will swallow up on this mountain
the covering that is cast over all peoples,
the veil that is spread over all nations.
8 He will swallow up death forever;
and YHWH God will wipe away tears from all faces,
and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth,
for YHWH has spoken.
The Rest Day
Finally, Genesis 1:30 will be fulfilled. And the sixth day is ended, the 7th Day God’s Rest Day is come.
Isaiah 65:25
25 The wolf and the lamb shall graze together;
the lion shall eat straw like the ox,
and dust shall be the serpent’s food.
They shall not hurt or destroy
in all my holy mountain,”
says YHWH.
Genesis 1:30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” — complete done.
Genesis 3:14 God says to serpent, “and dust you shall eat all the days of your life”. — complete done.
Genesis 2:2,3
2 And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done.
3 So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.
At that time we can enter and enjoy God’s Rest Day. Amen. The 7th creation day is related to the Revelation of and New Heaven, New Earth and New Jerusalem
God is Still at Work
John 5:17 In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” Jesus made us to know that God is still at work showing that the work has been finished. So rest to everyone is the rest which bring to an end of all our struggles and problems
