Day 14 What Is God Saying about You?
Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
In today’s Scripture, I love the fact that God was bragging on Job. If you could hear what God is saying about you, you’d be amazed. We think God is focused on our faults and shortcomings, but God sees the good things in you. He sees your heart to help others. He sees your sincerity, your kindness, your courage. I can hear Him telling the angels, “Have you seen My son Jim? He’s really amazing. Have you seen Rachel? There’s no one like her.” God is proud of you. He made you in His own image. He calls you a masterpiece.
Remember that just because you’re having difficulty, as Job did, doesn’t mean you’ve done something wrong. Job was the most righteous man of his day. We all go through tests; seasons we don’t understand. Dark seasons are not permanent. God is for you, and He will bring you through. If you stay in faith, He will bring you out promoted, increased, and at a new level of your destiny.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You made me in Your image and call me a masterpiece. Thank You that You brag on me before the angels and are proud of me. I believe that You are for me and will bring me through every difficult time better, promoted, and at new levels. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
