Day 15 His Word prevail over all

Acts 19:20 So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

In Luke 8, Jesus says God’s Word is like a seed. When it’s sown in your heart, if you keep believing it and declaring it, it will grow and become what God promised. When you get in agreement with God and let His words grow, you speak His promises and keep thanking Him for what He says, and you’ll see His Word prevail over sickness, addictions, fear, and depression.

In 1981, when my mother was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and given a few weeks to live, she found about forty passages of Scripture that had to do with healing. Her voice was very weak, but she went around the house saying, “By His stripes I am healed. I will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord. With long life, God will satisfy me.” My mother kept watering that seed, thanking God for what He promised. The seed kept growing, and week by week she got a little stronger. The Word of God grew mightily and finally prevailed to her full healing.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your Word and precious promises that are being sown in my heart. Thank You that I can get my thinking in line with what You say and then speak it out and thank You for what it will accomplish. I believe that Your Word will prevail over whatever comes against me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
